The Kilkenny Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Kilkenny SPCA) is a non-profit animal rescue and welfare organisation affiliated to the ISPCA. The Kilkenny SPCA was founded in 1882, and has been a registered charity since 1937.Our aim is to improve the welfare of all animals - both domestic and wild - through a range of activities, including inspection of reported cases of cruelty, provision of a subsidised neutering scheme, aid in rehoming of animals, and promotion of education on animal welfare.
The Kilkenny SPCA is staffed by volunteers and relies entirely on donations for funding. If you wish to make a contribution, please click on our Help section.

Hi,I was hoping you might keep your eyes peeled for my cat that has been missing since April 7th in Moate ballyragget, about a mile outside the town. I know its a long shot that anyone would find her and report her to the KSPCA, but just in case!

This is Bruce. He is a Toy Poodle cross, missing from the kenny's well area since 04/02/13.
He is very old, black in colour, though greying due to age. He is sick and requires medication so we are very worried and anxious to get him home. Our cat has been missing since the 3rd week of December from Bolton Woods in Callan. She has been in our house every day for 2 years, and she suddenly stopped coming around. She is an outdoor cat and she is primarily cared for between us and another neighbour. We are worried for her welfare and just want to know she is ok. I have lost my dog. his name is Zephyr. I have had him for 11 years. he is the most loyal, gentlest, loving dog in the world.
He went missing in the afternoon of Saturday October 20th, and i haven't seen him since.
He loves sausages. belly rubs, walks in the woods, snow and he hates water.
I am very worried as it is not like him to stray. ever. once fore five hours and he was asleep in the neighbors garden.
He is neutered, wormed, de-flead, all appropriate shots administered, and shampooed and generally pampered all over.
He was a rescue dog that i rescued from very cruel owners and he was terrified of loud noises, brushes/mops or even hand gestures but
after much work, he grew to trust people again, although he still does not like men with deep voices.

Found this dog at the petrol station on the bennettsbridge road. He'd been sitting there for two hours. So I've taken to my home, gallows hill which is directly across from the petrol station. He has a skull&cross collar. So somebody must own him.
